Everyone say it with me... PREGNANCY IS NOT A DISABILITY!

No it's not a literal one. Although on paper in the state of NY it is considered a disability depending on your work conditions. I was on short term disability for most of my pregnancy since my work conditions made it such. Obviously I wasn't a "disabled" person but on papers I was disabled due to my work. Some states consider it so that women can still reap their benefits without having to leave their jobs with nothing, just because they're pregnant.

@saniyyahhasan, It is in my state for short term. Check your state laws under pregnancy.

I think depending on your pregnancy it can be... I'm high risk and cant do shit so i wish i could stay home n get that money
