I'm supposed to start progesterone in a few weeks. The ob I was going to wanted to start me on the pill but I've never had a miscarriage or an incompetent cervix. I've also researched that it's not as effective as the shot. Have you ladies asked your ob to be on the shot instead of the pills? I switched back t my other OB and I'm pretty confident they will be giving me the shot since I'll be going to a high risk ob.

@vtowns2kaleb, my first came at 37 weeks and my second at 32 weeks. We stayed in the NICU for 5 weeks. It was really rough. The suppository I heard you have to do it multiple times a day and it's so messy and the pill isn't much help. I don't mind getting shots because I know it's going to be the most effective.
@emijayden_7 yes that why I'm on the shot as well my two previous pregnancy came around 6 months that lead to miscarriage so my Dr put me on the shot with my last pregnancy n my son came early @ 28 weeks but he was ok n had stayed in NICU for 29 days so with pregnancy I informed the drs of that n they put me on it n so far so gd they ask if I wanted pills/ surrpostive but I declined n stuck with shot
For incompetent cervix n having two previous miscarriage n I was referred to get the shot but then offered the pill if I want to take myself but kept to shot heard pill was just cheaper n they also have a surrpostive can take but nurse states it's just cheaper n easier for me to administer myself instead of coming to office every week
The pill wouldn't really be for me since I've never had a miscarriage or have an I compete any cervix is what I was trying to say. I feel like the pill is useless. The shot is more effective since it goes into your blood stream. I don't know why doctors try to give it in pill form when it's not the best choice where as the shot is. IMO
I want the shot instead of the pill. I keep having my babies early.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing.
