What exactly makes a single mom a single mom? I'm going through a divorce & my ex will live in Alabama while i will live in IL. He still helps me out, sends money for the kids and we will do visitation. Idk if that would be considered a single mom. Any opinions?

Okay i was just curious. & yeah compared to most hes not bad at all. He loves his kids and does whatever he can for them. My opinion has changed on him a lot but i will say he tries to do whatever possible for our kids which is awesome. I've seen some women go thru so much worse so i cant complain at all

I would consider it a single mom. You will pretty much raise the kids on your own, but you will have his financial help, and they will still get to visit him but overall you will be a single momma! But he sounds like a great dad!
