@ecross744 no it didnt the contactions did and i wanted to sleep cause they didnt break my water till 4 am and been there since 6pm they told me that if they didnt break it they were going to send me home with being 5 cm and 70% effaced
@ecross744 I was 39 weeks 2 days and we were cooking and I stood up and felt a gush of warm liquid. However my contractions never started and we waited 6 hours of walking, and squatting on the birth ball. So they had to put me on pitocin and that's when my contractions started
With my son they had to break my water
I was in pre active labor with my first dilated at 3cm having contractions but my haven't broke until I think at 6 or 7 cm idk I was admitted at 3cm and had the epidural. The pain was so bad and I was hungry 🙄
My water broke naturally but my contractions didn't start :b
@ilovemychildren OK if my water don't don't break by the time my due date gets here what do I do?
Some babies are born en caul (still in the water). Very rare, but still....not every womans water breaks for birth. Sometimes it doesn't happen until after.
Your water needs to break to have a baby, not everyone's water will break naturally, some need there water broken by a doctor.
Not everyone's water breaks before labor. In my second pregnancy they had to break my water at the hospital. My third pregnancy I lost my water so slowly I thought I just kept peeing myself. Lol
My water has never broke.
