Torn between having a baby shower or a sip n see :/ my friend originally wanted to throw me a shower. I really dont feel like myself this pregnancy not to mention this 3rd trimester has been awful, morning sickness, tired, small appetite, a lot of pelvic pain...im not really up for a baby shower...I know with a sip n see the concern is all those people around my baby but to be honest I dont have many friends or family to invite anyway so it would be a small get together and my husband will be gone for work training for a month when baby is 3 weeks so maybe the sip n see will give me something to look forward to. What do you all think?

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital?
I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out...
Pretty depressed right now making a list of ppl to invite to my baby shower. I dont have anyone to invite. Just family and no friends. This is gonna be embarrassing af.
My friends surprised me at my house today which a bunch of stuff for my son that I really needed and I cried like a baby! I couldn't afford a baby shower/ didn't have enough people to invite to really spend money so they planned a small "baby shower" and it was the best thing ever!
Thanks mamas! Im really leaning towards that to be honest...ive just never been to one or know anyone whos had one so i wasnt sure if it was even a good idea 😊
