I could sit back and talk bad about the father of my child all day, but really.. what does that do? Does it make him change? Does it benefit our daughter? Does it say more about him or me as a person, who chose to have a child with him? After he cheated on me, I decided to leave him and I have absolutely no regrets on that. But with time and healing, I've realized although he made a shitty partner, I should not condemn him a shitty father if I don't give him a chance to BE A FATHER. I will never have a relationship with him, but why should that mean my daughter shouldn't have a relationship with her OWN father? That would be so selfish of me. I am so proud of the WOMAN I've become.. I know being a mother has made me a better person in so many ways. I no longer think for myself, but I have to always think of my daughter first. I want her to know who her dad is. I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to allow them to build a father daughter relationship. She is all that matters to me and it will always be about HER. ❤
