So we bought this house last April and on the side of the front yard is a tree stump made in to a cross, I assume the people who lived here were religious in some way. We however are not but I do have my own set of beliefs and I don't have it in me to just axe this cross down and throw the wood in the fire. How would you "respectfully" take it down I guess is the best way to put it. It's been there for over a year now cause I don't know what to do with it.

@sarahmartinez817 hmm maybe but it's not very big so it's not much wood but it's at least something, good idea.

Could you make something else with it if you took it down? Then you're not just burning it or throwing it out, just repurposing it.

@ilovemychildren I feel like it is though lol I just wonder if it would be disrespectful or maybe it's protecting from evil spirits or something idk 😂😂 I feel like I need to know why they made that first before i do anything but that's not a possibility

I would just take it down. Don't feel weird about it just because it was a religious symbol to someone else. If its not to you then removing it shouldn't be a moral issue. Its just another stump in a yard 😀
