Sorry im all late, I wouldn't know. I've never taken birth control pills or had any form of birth control yet. After this pregnancy I want to get a Mirena (an IUD) for sure. My first was planned, this one was a surprise baby @shyarbrough15 My friends have the mirena & they both like it alot, it's non hormonal & they say they don't get heavy periods.

@shyarbrough15 you should call medicaid and ask for a Superior and explain the plan you signed up for that's ridiculous 😡

You can also apply for Texas Women's Health & they can help you with birth control for free if you qualify. Which you should.

Have you called??? They should be able to give you foodstamps and medicade also they they have a program where they give you cash. Theres other programs that help with bills start doing a lot of googling. Google your state and benifits, and programs in your state that help with bills ect . also local curches have the food bank that helps a lot . no shame in getting the help you need ❤

Yeh you should be covered your whole pregnancy. You shouldn't need to renew during. Has to be a mistake. Definitely call and try to get it reinstated but even if it isn't right away they can back date it and cover your delivery.

I'm really trying to keep my calm and not be too stressed out for the baby at the moment I've just never been in this situation and it seems to be one thing after another this entire year I keep thinking I'm gonna catch a break and then something else happens I have a one-year-old as well so it's just tough because I don't want this for him

And I've tried absolutely everything to go into labor naturally at home nothing has worked

@shyarbrough15 look up child support office, food stamp and call Medicaid. Take a breather and things gonna fall in place one step at a time.

Even if it's takes Medicaid two weeks to do the paperwork they can back bill up to 60 days!! Don't let them mess with you!!!

Now take a deep breathe now a days most everything is done online! If you apply for food stamps now you should be approved within a week and you'll qualify for emergency stamps!!! There are programs and churches that will help single expectant mothers with bills etc

@andrea.herrington, I went up there to Medicaid in person today and they told me it be two weeks just for them to get to my paperwork and then it could be another week to get approved but it would be way too late by that point and I was supposed to be induced on the 18th and I asked my doctor today if I was still going to be able to be induced now that I'm not covered and she says I don't know how the payments go. So now I don't know if I'm gonna be able to be induced. As much as I want to have her naturally I went over my due date with my first pregnancy

Take a deep breath, momma. Call medicaid, something might have gotten mixed up. Don't worry as far as delivery goes, you show up in labor they have to admit you.

I was told when I got it and even with my first pregnancy that you're supposed to get it your whole pregnancy +6 weeks after you have the baby nobody told me anything about renewing and I never received anything in the mail about it

@jae, they told me it's time to renew it and I just found out today about it so when I went up to the office to get it renewed they said it be two weeks for the paperwork to be processed

Why did your Medicaid get cancelled? I was under the impression that you are covered your entire pregnancy.
