Is it wrong of me to now want any visitors after my little girl is born? Not even family. I want it to just be me and my boyfriend. He thinks it's stupid. And even told me his family isn't gonna listen and they're gonna be mad.. I'm gonna be tired and I want to take some time to bond as a family.. any advice?

Girl if they're not gonna listen then you tell the nurses that nobody is allowed back there and they'll make sure of it. I mean you just had your baby it's not like you want anyone besides you or your SO holding them for a while!
Maybe compromise? And only let people visit the second day? I mean its your bfs baby too and I'm sure the family is just excited.
If you don't want visitors tell the nurses and they will not allow anyone back. We did it. We didn't have visitors until the next day besides my husbands mom. I had a list of those allowed and that's all they let back there.

I did the same. I told people they had to wait until I got home. They had the nerve to show up to the hospital anyways.

Update... my family is okay with it, they understand. His family however think it's fucked up and that I'm just being a bitch.
