Keep in mind no matter the weather all newborn s up to 3 month's old need to be warm blanket.swaddled.hat on head even to sleep..to this day All my son's sleep no matter their age w a blanket near their face..sing to him.rock him pat his back lightly..hes a new born enjoy all these special moment's ❤ good luck with your Jayden

No you're not doing anything wrong love. This is totally normal. Love on him and hold him as much as he needs and as much as you want. It will teach him that he can depend on his mama to be there for him.

@tiffanyf, it's not a bad habit at all! Listen to you baby if he needs you to hold him then hold him even if you have the instinct to hold him follow that instinct. He won't be a baby forever, baby wraps are awesome you should purchase one so you can move about and keep baby close as well

@sims.krista, aw lol he doesn't like being in his boppy pillow .. swing etc .. but I'm home alone all day so I try to get him used to it but he just needs his mommy right now 😩😊

Remember he has been in your belly being cradled for 9 months. He just needs to feel that safety. It's a new world for him. Have you tried wearing him?

Baby is a weeks old that's normal, he just went through a traumatic experience leaving the comfort of the womb. He got everything he needed from you and didn't have to work for anything things are now very different and he needs you and finds comfort in you and your touch.

my son did but not my daughter . & he's still a clingy crybaby to this day at 4yo.

You have a long time to break that habit! If it starts getting in the way of chores, try a carrier :)
