Anyone know what to do when ur now 8 month old son is being switch to oatmeal/cereal from formula…

When my daughter was on baby cereal I had to add a little apple juice or something to give it a better flavor for her to eat it.

You dont stop giving him formula. He needs it until hes 1. He honestly doesnt need baby cereal anyway.

He doesn't necessarily need the cereal. Does he have acid reflux? And are you mixing it with formula instead of water? But he needs his formula. He will until he's at least a year old before switching to another kind of milk. Keep him on his formula and if you do decide to feed him cereal just do a tiny bit with formula mixed in. They don't need it all at that age but certainly only a tiny bit if you do

My kid wouldn't drink the mixture. So we skipped that whole step..starting feeding baby food (organic baby food)...8 months seems young to me. I'd wait a little longer or try something else.

My mom said thats what she did with us so i thought it was a good idea with him and he took it fine bf now.
