Yep what she said hell eventually realize that he can't have it . But maybe I would suggest doing a soft take away for naps and bedtime. Just in order to get him used to not having it all the time. no pack during the day only and only if he's having the worst time going to sleep then give it to him then take it away at naps then only have it for bedtime (if necessary) then take it away all together Once you see he's doing better

@drewandvaehsmommy, that's what I was kinda thinking of doing too, just make him quit cold turkey lol

Just throw it away and let him whine. Did that with my son and he got over it within 24 hours.
