@aubreylynnsmommy o0 gotcha!Yea my sister has had to do that with my niece whoes one when she was actually constipated but uses coconut oil & helped her ease the terds out. Mama's got to do what they got to do tho!

@athomas he went tho!! Gave him a little grip water be4 his feed & bam, it all came out! U could just see the relief little man had!👏

@kmarie1303 yeah I'm not sure. They have windi thing you can try made by fridababy. I don't blame you on pushing meds. I feel the same way. I hate pushing medicine.

@kmarie1303, no like what they told me to do was put Vaseline on a q tip and rub her butt hole. I know it sounds completely gross and awful but it stimulates them to go. And it really works.

@aubreylynnsmommy @tamerabang if he doesn't have a good poop within the next 24 hrs then I'm going to call doc &ask about the oz of Apple juice, he's only 2 weeks old tho so it scares.ke to even try it when okayd by the doc. Lol @aubreylynnsmommy tried the warm bath be4 my appt today &He had a little squirt when I changed him when we got home. .. I've also been using the Aquaphor ((which is like Vaseline base, bc he's had a butt rash that the hospital recommended us to use to clear it up)) so he's deff had that during all this & didn't seem to make any difference.

It won't hurt or upset him more if his body doesn't need it right.. it will only help either way?

@athomas thanks mama hate to just push medicines on him tho when I'm not 100% that's what it is.. like he farts, he hate little squirts of poop come out but not like he was pooping he burps great & using the colic ease avent bottles. Did the sitting up this after both his mid day & dinner bottles then after about 20 mins i laid him down &He fell right asleep.. But the last 2 days when he would be trying to push is where the discomfort comes & He starts screaming .. & the mycolin ((or however it's spelled)) &the grip water don't say anything about helping with easing pooping just helps with colic, hiccups & gas🤔

Try a little 100% apple juice it is a natural bowel stimulant and stool.. softener

My daughter was insanely constapated and gassy up until she was 3months old. I don't think the gas drops are meant for constipation then again you can always ask your doctor. But what we did for her was put a little Vaseline on a q-tip and stimulated her that way so she could go and not be in so much pain. I would definitely try the warm bath and stuff first. Also ask about prune/apple juice. My pediatrician told me to only give her an ounce of either and water it down. And let me tell you it def worked but make sure to ask the dr first!

@smash6684 No, only because it says after meal time or be4 bedtime. I'm gunna give the warm a try be4 more medicine. . .I also have grip water but it says for 2 weeks the youngest &4 weeks & He just turned 2 weeks so makes me nervous.

@mommieof2babies thank you. He's had poops, so I don't think he's constipated completely like blocked up like that where it's causing an obstruction. Just not as frequent with his poops like he was... I'm gunna give the warm water a try today.

@sherrynygirl thank you, he definitely is burping good, using the Avent colic air flow bottles too. & make sure to keep him elevated about 15 to 20 mins after he has his bottle... his umbilical cord just came off last night so he's gunna have his 1st warm bath today. Where he's actually in water ¬ just a sponge bath.

My son was like that since 2 months on and off they said that he is constipated bad they wanted to make sure he wasnt obstructing himself if its that bad I would take him in to see if they can tell you anything also what I do when my son can't go I sit him in warm water or you can just put him in warm water it makes it for them to get much easier

Make sure he burps. In between feedings...and after also..I never lay a baby down flat after they drink. And a warm sponge bath on his tushi might help him poop..
