I've been noticing quite a few ladies on here have an induction date planned ahead. Is this something that most people do? In the event my LO doesn't arrive on his own before 40 weeks? I don't have any complications at this time, but I do have a high risk pregnancy (I've had to see the dr weekly for a few months now).

I never knew they did that until my last appointment the nurse said you'll get your induction date next week... I asked my Dr. yesterday and he gave me the date which I don't like because my nice was born the very next day so our kids may have the same birthday

My doctor does it at 39 weeks if you ask.

I have one because I have complications it all depends on dr some will talk about it at 39 some will make you wait till after 40 if no complications to talk induction
