How can your job only give you two weeks?! That seems crazy. I thought they had to give you at least 8. I got 14 when I had mine in CT. As for breastmilk, just try to relax while feeding. I swear babies can sense stress. Sorry for you!! 💙💙

They said that they don't want to give me any until we are sure I'm not producing milk for over a day.

@mattsgurl4eva the worst thing is I had an emergency C-section and have my daughter early and because of it I'm not able to go back to work but since the building itself only has two employees listed for that company by law it states if their 15 employees are less the company is not required to go by the FMLA law and they can do as they see fit.

@kaytibug2009, oh wow. That is messed up. How far would your move be if your husband took that job? We moved from CT to AL with a 3 week old and almost 3 yr old

@mattsgurl4eva we'd move from Wilmer,TX to Texarkana,TX and that's about a 4 hour plus move. We have no family out there and I would be alone more than ever out there but he would be making good money.

@kaytibug2009, that sounds similar to our situation. It makes it hard either way. Stay where you are without $ or move and just be you guys. We chose the $, but its definitely hard being away from all family.

@mattsgurl4eva what makes the problem worse is my husband doesn't really want the job so he's telling me, as of today, that he's not sure if he wants to do the job.... Oh and he stops working at his old job this coming Tuesday.... making it so we will have no income.

@kaytibug2009, isn't he worried about it too? I'd definitely be stressing out too, but how is he with it all?

Sadly there is only 4 people in the "company" for the building I was in so technically they don't have to follow the rules.
