So, I have a mom friend that I met online. We've met at local parks and the library a few times but I want to invite her to my apartment. The babies can play in the living room and we could just sit on the couch and watch TV, maybe pig out on food a little bit. Our apartment complex has a pool so we could do that as well. To me that sounds awesome. How do I do this without it being weird? Idk is it weird to invite her over to chill like teenagers ?

Maybe pick up snacks or something to bake and ask if she wants to help make and/or eat them? Then when you work out a time, say bring swimsuits just in case. Personally chilling like teenagers sounds fantastic to me. When your life is all about being a mom, there's nothing more fun than just sitting around talking or watching movies with a friend. 😂

Honestly I used to think like this too. Then I found most moms would jump at the opportunity to get out and do somewhat normal adult bonding.
I don't have local mom friends. I have my neighbors but one is too busy and the other has four boys she homeschools so she rarely has time either.
Invite her over, it will be good for both of you and your children!
