@namastaye, i had to pump st the hospital.. Im freaking out!! Idk what to do... I need to calm the leaking and nothing is working.. it makes it hard to latch him when I'm over encoged and sometimes the milk squirts out and he starts coughing..

@namastaye, i usually hold a rag over my boob to try and catch excess milks... but I leak through everything (pads and rags and towels) and I miss the skin on skin bonding and you know... I miss not choking my baby on projectile Breast milk 😿my cousin says I'm lucky I make so much milk... but ouch...

@cubanese, okay I'll go with disposable for starters ... which ones are the most absorbent? Or are there only one grade of absorbency for disposable pads. I'm looking online and just see one kind

@cubanese, dang... now that I think about it, maybe that was my problem when I was trying to breastfeed my little babe. I started pumping cause I felt like I wasn't making enough for her. And ended up drying up after 2 weeks...

These are the disposable ones I found that work the best even when they get super full I've never had a pad leak through to my shirt. See the green box in the upper right hand corner that says moderate? They have a "light" version too but u like the moderate ones best they hold more

Use cabbage leaves! It helps alot!!

Also don't take hot showers it causes more milk flow

@babycakes20, i read an article saying hot showers relieve engorged breasts, get rid of extra leakage and don't cause extra milk.. wtf!!!!

I use the target brand up and up breast pads I seriously love those!

My doctor told me cold drys the milk up.

If your trying to breastfeed DONT put cabbage on them that will dry up your milk to where you won't be able to breast feed but if your breastfeeding then cubanese is completely right all we can do is use the breastfeeding pads they help alot

@jahniesha, how long till the engorgement goes down and the leaking stops?@cubanese, and are hot showers really bad? People have been telling me to use hot wet towels or take hot showers. And that's what my articles said too...

@cubanese, see how I can get confused easily? Doctors tell me different things from each other , mothers tell me opposing remedies... I wanna try things out without furthering my problems or making anything worse. Rather have extra milk than dry boobs.. but don't wanna add to overproduction
