Mom's I got a opinion question. I have a bassinet on my side of the bed. Just a plain bassinet. Well originally I planned to get one of the bassinet that sit in bed with u (pic below) since my husband works night shift 5 nights of the week I figured having her in bed with me would be easier and I can move her to the bassinet when he gets home or the nights he is home. But I was just thinking for $30 is it worth the price since I'd be moving her back to the bassinet by between 4-6am when hubby gets home from work since there won't be enough room for both of them in our bed. Especially since she will only use it a few months

@kitcatmeow8383 that's what I was worried about or waking her up when I have to move her if she sleeps longer.

@kitcatmeow8383 it's a small bed so the bassinet and my hubby both won't fit on it. We r getting a bigger bed eventually but it just hasnt been in the budget lately.

I co-slept with my daughter until 2 months and then transitioned her to the crib and she sleeps there just fine. The bassinet never worked for us. She hated it.

I co slept with my daughter till she was 2 in a half it was just us though for a while , she has her own room now it took sometime to get her to sleep in her own bed , some nights she will still come in my room and sleep with me

My husband also work nights and I coslept until she was 6 months. It's easier but harder to let go 😣😣@lillyb

@inlovewithrosiee my problem is she won't fit in the bed with both of us so once he gets home she will have to go in the bassinet beside the bed so would it even be worth it to get one for in the bed to cosleep. I just feel it'll be easier since I plan to breastfeed to have her so close in bed. But then would I get enough use out of the cosleeper to be worth the price. It's nice to be able to ask someone who's husband also works night shift. He drives truck so he gets home anywhere between 4-6am
