Robby went from sleeping 9-11 hour nights. To up every 2 hours. For weeks. I thought hm maybe now I should drop the swaddle too (I know my logic may be flawed). He moves so much in his sleep and he keeps waking himself. He is easily soothed if I let him hold a finger or if I rub his head. But I want him to be able to soothe himself without scratching himself or staying awake cause he can't stop moving and kicking. Any tips for nixing the swaddle for an extreme mover. I feel like a horrible mom when I'm exhausted and cranky and I wanna get sleep back 😭

Babies usually hit a 4 month sleep regression where they start to not sleep that can last anywhere between 4-6 weeks. It's really rough. :( their minds are so wired from starting to learn new things. My son had the 4 month regression, 6 month regression, 8 month and 10 month. It seems once they get out of one, it's good for a week or two then another one hits. My son is 11 months tomorrow and he is starting to get up every 3 hours again. I know it's rough after having sleep to not sleeping but it's a phase and they will get through it. I dropped the swaddle around 4 months as well, and he seemed to sleep better. You'll get through this mama ❤

@mamatocam8516xo, yeah it's been 5 weeks of the regression I assume atleast that's what this is. I have never swaddles him in the day so I figured taking it away at night may not be terrible. But his comfort his rubbing his face and he ends up scratching it no matter how well I cut and file nails. And he slams his legs down and I think it wakes him. I know it's a phase it just is hard some days. Thank you 😊

My son still is going through this. Some days I just wanna curl under the covers and scream. It's hard. Really really hard. We just want our sleep back. And he use to do that to, slam his legs down and wake himself up. I use to hold his legs when I would hold him and rock him to sleep even though it wouldn't do much when he was in his crib. If he starts to do that lean in and just hold them down and he will feel you. Use to help sometimes. Hope it gets better for you 😩

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

In need of advice... Leon will only sleep in my arms or on my chest and cries unconsoleably when I try to move him. Lately, he has been allowing me to lay him on our bed, directly next to me, to sleep. Occasionally, I can get him to sleep in his swing for a few hours. He refuses, however, to be in his bouncer or bassinet for any longer than 15 minutes at a time. I have tried swaddling him, laying him on his side, using a pacifier, playing music, singing to him, turning on vibrations, keeping a nightlight on, placing my hand on him, patting his backside, and running a warm mist humidifier but nothing seems to soothe him. I am trying to find a way to break him of this because I know it isn't safe and I've gotten very little sleep over the last 5 weeks, since he was born. Any advice would be welcomed and appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hey! So before I freak out and call his pediatrician, I'm going to take this to you guys first bc I know I'm overreacting. So Brian isn't sleeping well, and he's super fussy. He's been up every hour since last night, and when he is in his bed he fusses and doesn't sleep well before waking up crying. He will drink half his normal bottle, then fall asleep in my arms. Then as soon as I put him in his bed he can't get comfortable and sleep again. Until last night he was sleeping 3-5 hours at a time comfortably (he even slept 7 hours two nights ago). I have tried burping him. Massaging him. Swaddling him tight. Making sure he wasn't too warm. Or too cold. I've never given him medicine. I have gripe water and Tylenol. He is 7 weeks old. What do you think could be causing this, and what do you think I can do to help him?
