I need some people to clear this up for me. I swear ive been told many people had their period during pregnancy. When my mom said she was on her today I made a joke and said dont make me get mine, I'm pregnant! My sister in law decided to butt in and make it very clear that it is impossible to have a period while pregnant, but ive heard people tell me they got it? Clear the air for me please!
@taradee17, wow... yeah it totally happens! Seems almost impossible... but like your friend, it can totally happen! I'll pray that she continues to heal from the trauma!
@dreamermom I had a friend who was 17 (my age) had a baby a few months ago, she had no clue her tests came negative and she has periods, i saw her alot and she ddnt put on hardly ANY weight at all !! She had no clue until she was in the hospital delivering (she went to the hospital because she was having pain -labor pain-) she was a virgin and was raped, she didnt want to think she couldve been pregnant but she did test and it always came negative .. She's doing better now just dealing with depression !!
I literally have a friend who had a normal period and no symptoms her whole pregnancy... she was a little heavier in the mid section, and was working out 3-5 days a week and just could not loose this weight... one night she got her period and super bad cramps... went to take some Advil, thought she had to go to the bathroom and literally delivered her son on the bathroom floor! That's the first she knew she was pregnant! I always thought how the hell can someone NOT know... but she SERIOUSLY had NO clue! Thankfully, she had recently moved back in with her parents, her mom heard her screaming came in and called the ambulance... she almost bled to death on the floor...
Her and her son spent a few days in the hospital and were totally healthy!
@alexiswronkoski that is true, tottally agree !! it may technically not be, but you can still pretty much have one as in bleeding and period symptoms ect ect I bled the whole tome
You physically cant have your period while pregnant. You can bleed and it can resemble a period in timing but the way a period works would stop a pregnancy
You can still get it. I showed no pregnancy symptoms at all with my first and didn't realize I was pregnant till about 4 1/2 months. Had regular cycles till then.
Most people don't get it but there have been a few who still have hence the show I didn't know I was pregnant on tlc
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
I don't know how It would be possible. Your uterus is closed off during pregnancy.
