What wearable floaties do you ladies like for babies? My son is a little over a year and seems to think he can swim on his own and hates when we hold him. The little rings are a nightmare, he screams when we have him in those. We have one that is like the full body suit with floaties in the top but he doesn't float well. I'm looking for something where I can let him go and he'll stay upright, obviously I'll be right next to him so he won't be floating around freely but just something to give him a little freedom.
ссылка This ones not awful. I'll look some more too. Read reviews as well.
@scc2413, for his age, go by weight, coast guard approved (most are), and buckles (between legs and waist. Target, Walmart, sporting goods stores all have them.
@amommyofp okay cool! I'll look into those and the life jackets. Are there any life jackets you'd recommend?
@scc2413, those are coast guard approved. You said you'd be right with him, so yeah they would work great
@scc2413, water wings are the arm blow up things. They do nothing to prevent your child's head from going underwater, they fall off easily, they can pop, etc. I'm a lifeguard and swim instructor (10 years now for both). Water wings quite frankly are dangerous.
@amommyofp we plan on starting swim lessons buy can't until the end of summer. Are water wings the arm things? What's wrong with those? Just curious.
swim lessons. Whatever you do, do NOT use water wings! Look for a life jacket that is type 2 or 3 coast guard approved.
@scc2413, no problem
