Well we are back in the hospital Colton had his dr appointment today they recheck his bili level and it went from 14 to 21.8 so he is back under lights for the night and hopefully we will be leaving here tomorrow sometime if his levels drop to about a 12

we went thru this too I hated it so much for her . they say the levels peak at day 5 so hopefully his levels start dropping tomorrow !

He had his appointment today, his jaundice levels are a little high but we go back in tomorrow for another blood draw. He’s not gaining as much as they like but they aren’t to concerned. She just wants me to feed him every 2 hours instead of three.
Okay so Samuel had a 10.4 level for bilirubin (jaundice) when we were discharged from the hospital. I was told this was a normal level. Well it's been 3 days since we were discharged and I'm at the doctor's office. The nurse checked his jaundice levels they're now 11.5. Is that level normal?

@ashwee33 they had me stop breastfeeding due to the type of jaundice my daughter had. It was either breastmilk jaundice or breast feeding jaundice. After I stopped, her levels dropped.
