Stupid questions but is a receiving blanket the same as a swaddling blanket?
I only opened my bag for hygiene and pjs and his outfit to leave. I even stayed a week: everything else was provided
I agree with @katiesmiles1, hospital gives you soooo much. Their blankets are big enough I even took some from there. We pay for the stay take advantage of what they give lol I had plenty of diapers at home I still asked for more.
@sam-i-am, also the hospital will give you some so you don't need to pack one , don't over pack save space for the goodies
@kylesmom16, I completely agree lol , my son loves being swaddled or needs to have a blanket on him if not he won't fall asleep and my niece is the polar opposite
Honestly I used them for about a month.. my son now hates even blankets on him so it's literally hit and miss anyway
@lexonmars @avahcruz @kylesmom16 @katiesmiles1 o ok thanks guys I was confused when someone told my to not forget to pack a receiving blanket lol
It depends on how big the receiving blanket is, I used swaddle sacks on my son and when they were all dirty
I would use a receiving blanket
Yes lol I thought it was two different thing ? But honestly the swaddling blankets are just a little more stretchy
I can't stand to see a baby on the bare couch its nasty, put a blanket down 1st!!
Ok vent over 😂

Everyone takes these receiving blankets from the hospital Lol

Working on my year weather blanket
Whats for dinner y’all?
For us it’s leftover chicken, leftover chilli and pigs in a blanket 😏
Where can I buy a cute blanket for my baby girl before she’s born? It’s going to be that one special blanket I always use for her most of the time. I’ve always bought a main, special, blanket that becomes the favorite for each child.
@kylesmom16 o ok thanks
