My son is doing the same and he is 5 weeks. I have tried different dummies. My son is slightly tongue tied so I'm not sure if that is related

Have you tried different shaped dummies? Charlie was the same until I eventually found the right one then never had any trouble. He was on cherry teats at first but they must've been too big as he constantly spat them out

hmm I will look up cherry style ones, my son also struggles to drink from milk bottles. He spills out at least an ounce from sides, don't know if thats related @amylouise9789

Morgan was the same as a newborn so we tried various dummies. Eventually we noticed he only accepted the avent ones. Max was exactly the same! Lol
