That sucks :/ lol & i will definitely ask her this week cus i'm not sure if my water breaks would i have to go in right away? or anything but thats my clinic 😑 lol
@ivette15martinez, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to move around. Would just need to take the IV pole with you.
I wasn't allowed to get out of bed, but that was because I was induced so baby was constantly monitored. That's a good question to ask your dr. at your next appointment.
I tested positive with my son. It's not dangerous to you but could potentially cause complications with your baby. During your labor and delivery you should be given a continuous antibiotic drip. Normally they give penicillin. I am allergic to penicillin so not sure what antibiotic I was given. If you google GBS you can find information on exactly what it is and what complications your baby may get if it's passed on to he or she. The only thing I remember off hand is meningitis. I believe the chance of it being passed on is pretty slim. I also had to stay in the hospital with my son for an extra 48 hours after he was born so he could be monitored and make sure all was well, which he was a-okay.
