We have recently been offered the opportunity to buy my parents home, on 1 acre in the country. Our plan is to turn it into a self sustaining homestead. We haven't even moved yet but my brain is going over drive. Researching everything from permaculture to mini-cows!

@dmm1976, yeah see as long as you don't overdo it you should be fine. My ex tried to see how many he could fit on our property I mean 50+ chickens and 10 goats etc etc! Plus he was a dick and did a terrible job of taking care of them and keeping them pinned. He thinks he's a farmer lmao!! Even where he is now (across the road) his yard looks like Sanford and sons and his pigs and animals are always roaming the streets lol! He's just a moron

@brookemmoore we had 3 chickens once . We still have the coop. In a closed run. They never got out but they all got stolen 😠 they cut the fence in the cow pasture to come in through the back.

Good luck! I have 2 acres and having farm animals here would basically be like having them living with me. My ex tried it and those goats and chickens never stayed Locked up and were always on my porch and driveway pooping everywhere. Never again for me! lol nope! 😂

🙌🏻 Yea! My husband told me about mini cows and I didn't believe him! I can for once say I was wrong! 😂 I just saw there are mini jerseys, that is what I would go with. Jerseys have a nice milk output with a lot of beta carotene. You can do so much with an acre!
IUI Monday!! So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years!!! It was a good thing we picked up a trigger shot before we left too :-)
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
Is anyone else seeing my faint positives? We had sex on the 23rd and I tested this morning because I have no chill and here we are.
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
