So I just had my 6 week pp check up. My gyn asked what kind of birth control I want. We are thinking about doing the arm implant because he said it has a 99.95% success rate. So can anyone tell me their experience with it or if there is a better type of birth control. We really don't want to have another baby for atleast 3-5 years

So would you recommend it? You bled like the day you got it and it lasted for weeks? Just wondering what to expect lol. I'm breastfeeding so I didn't really expect to have a period for the first year. @autumnsmomma125
It didn't make me gain weight. I had it twice. Once in high school and it worked perfect the only bad thing was i bled a lot like a period. Like I'd bleed for weeks.. But that was the only problem that time. The second time i got it was after i had my daughter last july and i only had it 2 weeks because it made me very sick. I guess having my daughter made my body reject it. But after only 2 weeks i got it removed but still bled for a month after... Ive heard after the first year you stop having periods completly but i only had it a year the first time So I'm not sure.
Oh okay lol I've never had anything other than the pill. I hated it because I would always forget to take it. So does it work good? Did it make you gain weight? @jasholbert

What birth controls have worked flawlessly for you?... I don't want anymore kids after my daughter but I don't want to tie my tubes and I am not going to become a born again virgin so I want your best recommendations ladies! Thanks in advance :)
So how do you Ladies feel about birth control. I'm against it cause I want my body to do what it naturally does. I've faced infertility issues so I'm not for it but my mom feels I should be on it after I have Tyson.

All mommas on birth control! what birth control are you using , I don't know what to choose after the baby is born. I've never really been on birth control. I definitely don't want anything that can cause complications, weight gain and mood swings! thanks in advance!!
Well it may be different if youre breast feeding. And No it didnt start that day. It started like a week later like a normal period but lasted for weeks.. Instead of only bleeding 1 week a month i was only NOT bleeding 1 week a month.. But as for bc it works really well! I loved it the first time And just dealt with the bleeding lol i would recommend it but warn ppl about the possible side effects. Not everyone bleeds like i did. I've heard of some women not bleed at all while on it. I just wasn't one of those lucky ones lol
