When the belly button finally falls off ..... can someone tell me how it's suppose to look underneath.....

When it falls off it looks like a dry dry stick

The umbilical cord that falls off will be dry but his belly button can still look bloody. My daughters did, too. Just be careful when putting a diaper on him that it doesn't rub him raw. I folded hers down a bit.

My son's looked like a wound too. It was swollen and red and had a little yellow stuff coming out. I took him to the doc and she used silver nitrate. Healed within two days.

That looks normal dont cover it let it air out... give it about a week
