How do I get an 8 year old to sleep by herself without having to stay up until she goes to sleep. Does anyone else have this problem.

At her house she has a room but her mom doesn't put her foot down and make her sleep in her room mainly her mom does it for own benefit not my step daughter's benefit now she sleeps by herself in mine and my boyfriend's living room on the twin bed we kind of had to make her sleep by herself because we want her to be able to sleep alone so far she's doing better with us her mom turned her bedroom into a storage room
Does she have nightmares I slept with my mom til I was like 12. I still have nightmares maybe try dream catchers or try to figure out why she doesn't want to sleep alone
I'm such a sucker for these!! Unfortunately I'm rocking the baby to sleep and I have no clue what color my underwear is. I'll have to get back to ya'll!!
Do any of you ladies use melatonin to help your toddlers sleep? My boys always have a hard time going to sleep and idk what to do anymore 😩

😩😩😩 my son hasn't been to sleep since 6 he keeps fighting his sleep I'm sooooo tired he just won't sleep without taking catnaps and what sucks i have an appointment at 3 and haven't been to sleep plus having these bad headaches because I'm not getting any sleep 😴😔😔
And she does this to try and get out of going to bed
