Really need some help. My baby screams every time I try to do tummy time or back time he'll sit sitting up sometimes but he really needs tummy time! Any suggestions
@dmm1976 on my tummy yes he likes that haven't tried pillow yet
@haleyjordan825 can you lay her on her tummy propped on a pillow? Or even on your tummy?
@haleyjordan825 a fussy cry is ok. But a frantic or distressed cry I'd probably not continue. Hugs. It's hard.
My daughter always rolls to her back during tummy time which defeats the purpose lol
@loveyourbeautifullife @dmm1976 I do let him cry a little but its so hard
@beebaby I'll try the bobby and it's not really a think just laying in there back
It's ok for them to cry. Try short periods of time many times a day
Our PT said even a few minutes or seconds is good. Try to add 30 sec-1 minute every time.
I was told by a physical therapist it's ok to cry during tummy time, but don't let them cry for too long.
Do You lay with him. My daughter only does it for about 10 minutes. I'm not sure what back time is. I use a boppy also to keep her lifted a bit.

Because I can't sit here and watch Bolt for the 8,000th time, let's take a trip down memory lane!
I really hate tampons. I know we need them, but I really really hate them.
Really need to get out more, hate being stuck at home all the time. But I have no friends anymore :(
when do you start doing tummy time?
I really need to start my research for breastfeeding😩
@haleyjordan825 or boppy. I'd try that. Any time you can get where he is lifting his shoulders, head, pushing up, is all great for strengthening his core and getting him ready for crawling .
