33 weeks pregnant!! Need some advice on what y'all think. I went to the hospital last night because of a lot of pressure and something hard being felt through my vagina (fiancé noticed it) and my vagina kept getting sharp pains. They said I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced, my cervix are thinned, and she could feel baby's head. But sent me home because she said I'm not in active labor yet. How long do y'all think I got? And has anyone else experienced this before?

I was 2cm for 6 weeks before I delivered. You can remain the same for a while.

Once you start having consistant contractions I would say your closer

@beebaby, is it normal to be able to feel her head like that? She just but her finger in to her middle knuckle and felt her head. I'm worried from having contractions on and off it will hurt her.

@boymama0908, it just worries me because they could feel her head.

Yes it's normal. She is in position and if your cervix is open she can put her finger tip in to feel the head. That is normal for every one whose baby is head down

Having contractions is your body preparing to have the baby, it doesn't hurt the baby

@beebaby, okay thank you. I'm kinda freaking out. They almost kept me for delivery and give me steroids for her lungs and brain but she talked to her team and they told me to come back if my water breaks.

Well you can also go in when you are having contractions. I was having consistent contraction from 32 weeks and for the shots as well. I was in active labor and my water never broke. They had to break it. If your contractions are consistently 3 to 5 minutes apart you should go in.

@beebaby, okay thank you. I'm a first time mom so I'm scared. But this has helped a lot!
