I used to always be the one going and trying to get him to stop being a dick and to stop ignoring me, but now whenever he does that and he tries to act sweet I tell him to fuck off. He doesn't get to make me feel like shit anymore.

Especially when, to make a long story short, I'm the bread winner of the family (which never mattered to me) but then I started to notice that he'd start splurging whenever we started to get alittle money saved. He took no accountability or responsibility for it. And as soon as I bought a shirt from my fave department store, he call me, asking me why I'm spending unnecessary money. Because that's why we're always broke. So I did something dishonest but I thought was best. I started putting spending money aside for myself and for the baby that's coming so that he'd never have to track my spending and I could get things for myself without causing a fight and he found out about it. And is literally chewing me up that I was hiding money and DOES NOT CARE WHYYY! he's so controlling.

I know lying and hiding was wrong but as a mother with a child coming, I did what I thought was best.

I completely understand, I don't think it was wrong at all, especially if he is bad at saving up money and not touching it.

Yikes. Maybe he needs a work from home job or something to make him feel like he's contributing too? Money's tough to work out but it can be done! My fiance and I both work from home but we divide the payments and agree on a set amount we can spend on ourselves each week. We also put $10 a week in a jar and saved about $760 so far so thee are little ways to work around stuff! Good luck to you!

@smash6684 sounds like me and my husband I just started a savings account for me and my daughter and the baby on the way because my husband will spend all his money in the matter of 2 days and all we do is fight about money all the time because he doesn't know how to properly manage it he just spends it as soon as it touches his hands , and of course I'm not aloud to touch his money even though he touches mine I put a end to that real quick. They need to understand we have bills and rent to pay . My husband thinks rent and bills are accesorys but it's not when it keeps a roof over you and your children's heads and food in your mouths.

@tasharoshell don't let him put you down for hiding money sometimes that's what you have to do , who cares what he says or thinks at the end of the day it's what best for you and that baby . Men like to feel in power and in control of every situation put your foot down and let him know he isn't in control of every situation.
