My daughter was the same. But I then figured out it was certain food she wouldn't eat. She doesn't like purée much, she rather little pieces of vegetables.

When did you try the pieces of veggies?? How old was she? I'm just worried she'll choke on something because her tongue doesn't even move in the motion of eating ...😣😒 @aprilhearts

Doctor told me to start giving her food at 6 months. A different veggie every week (just in case she was allergic to any of them I would know which one.) try to make the veggies as soft as possible and cut them the smallest you can. Oh another trick was to give it to her like three hours after milk, so she'll be hungry enough that would want to try some. You'll baby will get the hang of it. 😊

I didn't start full time feeding my son solids until 7-7.5 months. Then he refused being spoon fed and feeds himself now. The beginning of 9 months he started showing more interest in what we ate and would get cranky and upset and wanted to eat our food. She'll be ready when she is :)
