So, I was told the other day on Facebook that I shouldn't be buying my child these name brand clothing items few a couple reasons.
1. Because it's "too expensive" for a child.
2. They're just going to get them dirty
3. They don't need name brand things because they'll grow up spoiled and entitled.
Let me just say...
1. How much a pair of shoes is doesn't matter to me. Also, I get a ton of deals on her shoes...so spending 20 bucks for a pair of Adidas isn't ridiculous.
2. And? I buy myself nice clothing and shoes and they end up dirty...so...?
3. I solely believe that the way you raise your child determines how they will act when they're older. Not the clothes you buy them.
The point of this is...why does it matter how another person dresses their child. And if they have the means to buy "name brand" items...why shouldn't they? I just don't understand why they can't just let people parent and dress their children the way they want.

Girl, I get nikes at the thrift store for 5 dollars or less for my kid all of the time. If someone said that to me I'd laugh in their face
