Have you ever felt that you're alone raising yourself child even you are married? First time mom and do you ladies can use some help with your partner? :(
Don't even have me get started on this discussion haha... let me just say I can or could at one point relate to pretty much everything being said here. You are definitely not alone!
I feel that way all the time. I know people argue that dads are providers and women are home makers and they say that's sexist but it's not. When you have a baby they need their mothers more than their fathers. Of course women are more than capable of providing for their families but a baby will want mommy more than daddy. A toddler will probably want daddy over mommy and they'll be more interested. I've argued about his with my boyfriend and pretty much he says that right now she doesn't do much. He can't really play with her. He kinda just bangs toys together because noise and texture are what stimulate her right now. When she's up and walking is when he's going to shine. When it comes to house work I always ask for help if I need it. I know you don't want to have to ask but it's better to ask then to be stuck alone doing everything. Momma needs a break too
He was like that at first too. He would say just tell me what you want done. But i don't feel like I should have to do that like you live here too lol you see what needs to be done. After I talked to him it got better.
Good for you 😊 mine is like, go to work get home, eat and play with his cellphone. He seldom play with LO and for taking care of the house he never help unless I get mad and he started to move with an"attitude". Never complain before but now that our LO is growing I do need some help and "ME" time cuz I am so exhausted.
I feel You! My husband leaves really early in the morning for work and doesn't get home till about 6:30. So by the time he gets home it's only a couple hours till the little one goes to bed. It can be hard and lonely but there's not much he can do he needs to go to work. I just tell him how I'm feeling and hes really good at helping out around the house with other things so I don't feel like I have to go everything by myself.
