So I haven't posted my labor and delivery story. On June 8th I had went grocery shopping as we was walking out I felt warm liquid come out of course I assumed it was discharge and didn't say anything. Finally got home hubby was sleeping my mom was watching the kids and me and my friend started bringing in the stuff so I went to the bathroom as it happened again I went pee thinking I may have pissed I went ahead and put a pad on to see if my water had broke and within seconds the pad was full so I went and woke my husband up and he didn't believe me as my water has never broke. Called my dr they said go to l&d. My dr came in once I got into my room I was only at a 3 and my cervix was high so he started pitocin he was wanting to make sure he delivered my baby as he promised me the delivery I wanted. I didn't want pitocin but almost had no choice as I wasn't dilating and my water was ruptured once I couldn't stand the pain any longer I finally asked for an epidural we had the hardest time getting it in as my spine was tight and there was almost no space opening after two tries we got it I was relieved but my left side was still getting the pain... next thing I know it's time to push I couldn't tell if I was pushing or not and I guess when the dr told me to stop and breath I kept pushing. Finally after 7 hours of labor and the longest labor I ever had she was here. My husband was crying my mother inlaw was crying I couldn't help but cry like a baby and my two best friends was right there with me.
