So I'm pretty happy right now, my husband actually put the baby to sleep on his own without getting frustrated and handing her over to me. I know it sounds dumb and he never did this with the first two but they were also bottle fed once they got past three weeks old, this one is breastfed. For some reason any time she gets fussy at all he automatically assumes that she wants to eat and just hands her to me. I tried to explain to him before that she's full and just needs comforted in a different way and today was the first time that he didn't just assume that she was hungry and he actually tried to work with her. And it worked! I'm just happy it kind of proved me right and also showed him that he could do it. Hopefully this is a new trend and he doesn't feel so discouraged with her just because I'm breastfeeding!

Mine does the same because he didn't know but I just let her cry with him. They have to figure it out. I'm going to work soon

@beebaby our kids are almost the same age, cool! Yea I think he just didn't know what to do he's used to being able to just feed them to see if that's what they want and I'm sure its hard to not have that option I guess you loose some control but he's getting the hang of trusting me when I say she's full and stuff. He wants to be able to "top them off" I guess but when you're breastfeeding you don't want to just stick them on over and over again cause that shit hurts when they're not really hungry. I'm rambling lol anyways, I'm just happy he actually tried something else and it worked!

I agree And my daughter had a tongue tie so i was dying. But eventually it got better. After about 7 weeks. Dad's are waiting for the honeymoon stage of children where they can say come here and the come. They don't want the crying needing to be held all day thing.

@beebaby Yea she's 6 weeks so I'm hoping it gets better soon. O yea he's already admitted to me this isn't his favorite stage for children and that's alright everyone has what they like he's a great father so I don't mind. His favorite stage is the one right after this probably from like 4 months to like 10 months I think. He does alright by himself but I'm never really gone too long yet cause she's still so little.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

Baby won't bear weight on leg

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.
