Ladies I really want to exclusively breastfeed the first six weeks and I'm looking for any advice on how to do this with a toddler?? Please advice is welcomed and needed!!
Something my daughter liked was having a baby doll to take care of when I took care of my baby. I know you have a boy but he just might be young enough to want to do baby care too. You could get a boy baby doll so he can take care of his boy baby while you take care of your new little boy
Such good ideas @arivera64, thank you again I'm going to start planning. I would love to not turn to tv every time
@ecahanes you're welcome. I made zip bags with different things. Some with playdoh and a lollipop, crayons and a coloring book page and some stickers with a pack of animal crackers, etc
Thank you ! Great ideas @arivera64, I'm already feeling better
I really want to babywear this time around and I have a really awesome one but I didn't even think about doing that and breastfeeding. That's a great idea thank you 😊
Create activity bags that you can give to your toddler while you nurse.
Read stories during feedings. Snacks will be great distractions
There is a great group on facbook called Breastfeeding The Struggles We've Overcome. I can add you if you want.
Babywearing and learning to feed the baby in a carrier will be your life lol. If someone can help w toddler for first week or more that would be helpful so you can just lay w baby and breastfeed
Any advice on crib training a 3 month old?? I'm at a loss. 😫
trying again advice (what have you been told)
