C section in the am ... I will be in the hospital for 4 days... will they provide me with onesies or should I bring…

All I'm bringing is clothes for him and a couple blankets, clothes for me a pillow and blanket from home

@kristellecdn87 i use to drink hot prune juice. After the second day of the prune juice my stomach starts getting ready. Lol

@js_kidsmom everytime i go to emergency room that give me stool softners to lol esp of u on pain meds. The passion meds make u constipated badly

Yes you can shower after they have taken you catheter out you do not have to poop but you must be passing gas ask for gas pills although my hospital gave them without me asking. I've only had c section no vaginal births. I didn't poop for almost 2 weeks with my last lil one.

@exoticyuri they gave me stool softners but I just couldn't go but I was able to pass gas so they let me go my 4th day. This happens to me after every surgery I have. It takes me 7 days to go. 😂

Your doctor office should have a nurse. Talk to your doctor or your nurse, i did today she gave me all infor i need to know. I have a bag with kid clothes, rob, night gown, slippers. U take showers but they cover ur stitches. U get a spinal anesthesia...surgery....then after surgery u go to dicovery room for observation after that they take u to ur bedroom and if everything is perfect with ur kid they bring him to ur room. That's mostly things i was told today. And also they man's sure u walk around, poop, pee, all of that. You'll be fine. Congrads again.

@exoticyuri like I said that's only what I've heard dear. I think the worse stories are told so you can be extra prepared. Doesn't always mean they're going to happen. You'll be okay darling😘

@exoticyuri you'll be able to eat the next day so if you want to bring snacks just incase the food isn't appetizing i would do that. My husband would bring me cafeteria food because my step father is the cook over there. Lol

@exoticyuri that's what I've heard from others who have had c sections cuz I'm probably going to have one myself due to an issue I have. When you have a vaginal birth they make sure you can poop before you go home too. To make sure you can still push. I heard they do the same thing even if you have a c section.

Bring comfy pajamas, something to keep you entertained, toiletries, bring your hairbrush, everything melody said lol

@exoticyuri I know at my labor and delivery they have a nice hotel shower in the room. I don't know about the water running over the stitches but I know they're gonna want you to walk and be able to poop eventually.

Charger, clothes 4 u to go home in... I really didn't bring much cuz my hospital provided everything I needed and I stayed in the hospital gown until it was time to go home. Oh I did bring body wash toothbrush and toothpaste

Lol to snacks part. Good luck i have one in 2 weeks. They told me bring clothes to take him out.
