Need advice!! Ok so right now I am like seven months pregnant I believe. I live in AL and my sister lives in Georgia. It's a 3-4 hour drive. Yesterday she informed me she is getting married to her fiancé in this September, which is the month I'm supposed to have my baby. My due date is Sep 27 and her wedding is Sep 3 which is Labor Day weekend she said. I looked at the calendar and I will be just a few days shy of turning 37 weeks pregnant that weekend. She wants me to be her maid of honor which is such a huge deal for me. And for them as well. My mother in law said that if I'd like to go she'll watch my two toddlers so there not a worry at all. My fiancé will also hangout with his mom that weekend if I go. I'd tag along with my parents. Just the three of us would go down to GA. Here's where I need advice!! My fiancé and his mom are scared I'll go into labor while I'm gone. I'll be gone for two days at most. I tend to have my babies early so they worry I'll go into labor at that time. What would you guys do? Would you just go cause I'll only be 36 and a half weeks, or would you be really worried about pooping your baby out while gone? Let me know how I should feel about this
@saniyyahhasan, yeah, I'm probably going to go. I really highly doubt that I'll go into labor in those two days. Like, what are the odds you know. This is a moment I won't be able to magically re live, so I think I'm going to take the risk. 😬 This really sucks, like I wish they'd schedule it like a month before or after, but I don't expect everyone to base there world off me just cause I'm pregnant lol.
I'll go anyways. I usually have mines a week early so I'll go n try to enjoy myself. Just be in close contact with them. I missed a family reunion with my last child bc I was afraid I would go into labor over some irregular contractions. Heck my whole family was there they would have looked out for me
You are so close that I wouldn't risk it. Specially if you have had early labor before.
Yeah I was definitely going to do that because when I turn 36 weeks I get my last ultra sound and that's when I'll see what my doctor thinks. Like to see if he has dropped at all, or anything like that.
I'd talk with dr to be honest have her check you before hand
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
Is this stupid?
My fiancé and I going up to the mountains this weekend to celebrate our engagement.
I was thinking about it when I go into labor I think imma go live on fb threw the whole thing till I have to push lol that would be cool right or weird lol let me know I'll add you on fb if you want lol
My doctor predicted I would go into labor this weekend and it's funny I'm having contractions that are 40 seconds long and 3 minutes apart. Can't get comfortable at all.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
@adriana_crampton In a prefect world yea lol
