ADVICE WANTED: Traveling for the first time with 3-month old (by myself) and I plan to wear him in the Tula through airport and on the plane. Any tips for airport travel with infant, or Tula wearing (using the infant insert) are very welcome and much appreciated!

P.s. Im also hoping to bring our DockAtot Deluxe, concerned with packing it - advice??

Thank you!

I don't have any pointers on your specific carrier but I flew by myself with my baby when he was about 7 months old and I wore him the whole time. I think wearing your baby is the easiest way to go when traveling. They will make you take him out of the carrier and carry him through security in your arms but after that you can put him back in and leave him there until takeoff. One flight let me keep him strapped in the whole time except for when he wanted out obviously, but another flight told me I had to take him out for takeoff and landing because if there is an accident it could be easier for them to save the baby if he's not attached to you. If the flight crew will let you, walking the aisle or standing at the back of the plane where you have some room to bounce/sway etc is helpful but again one flight let me and another said I had to stay by my seat. I just stood in the aisle by my seat on that one until he fell asleep then I sat back down. If you can, feed him or give him a paci to suck on at take off and landing to help with pressure in his ears. Bring a new toy he's never seen before to distract him in case he gets fussy. And most importantly don't worry about other people. If he fusses he fusses. They can put in some head phones and get over it! You'll never see those people again so just do what you need to do for it to be comfortable for you and the baby. you'll find that most people are understanding and even helpful when you're traveling alone with baby. Hope this is helpful. Good luck and safe travels!
