Asked my family to make sure they have whooping cough shots and flu shot before Abi gets here. My dad refuses, he said I wash my hands I wouldn't get her sick.

@purpledpink definitely! I'm not going to go crazy with the germex and all, because obviously exposing to some germs is needed to boost immune system, but definitely hands washed and shots. That's all I ask

@kendraharlee, yup!!! Me too!!!! My kid, my rules is what I told my in laws lol
But I'd still rather be safer than sorry.
@purpledpink exactly! I got tdap towards the middle of my pregnancy and I know it helps protect baby as well, buy I imagine it's a very low concentrated
@kendraharlee, I literally turned my ex in laws away bc they refused.... sorry.... we told you this was the one condition! If you don't want to get the shots, then you can't wait to see my baby until he is old enough to get his!
@mamma2besoon I told him he wasn't welcome around her until he got them. I imagine I'm going to be strict as it's my first baby, but this is a decision my hubby and I both made.

@sixplus1 yes! Definitely our right to. All the rest of my family has no issues doing it.
Sorry doesn't matter if you wash your hands or not, you can carry it and not know it
I also asked all of my family to make sure they were up to date with tdap. If they chose not to get it, I feel its my right as a mother to chose not to allow them to see my son.
