Okay, so my boyfriend wants me to give my baby his last name, I don't have a problem with that, but he doesn't want me to give my baby my name AT ALL. We are not married! and I have no idea if we would ever get married. I just think it's rediculous that he's like so freaking against my child having my freaking name. I don't care what other people are doing nowadays, that's my freaking baby, he's getting my name. Maybe if he was actually around during the pregnancy id feel differently, but I'm not changing my mind.

Yeah I was talking to him about using a hyphen and both our last names, and he had a f'ing fit. Like what? You gonna try to steal my baby? Or he probably just wants it so he can claim him come tax time 😤😤😤
Good thing you get the final say. 😁 my first son has my maiden name because the sperm donor wanted nothing to do with him, and my second son has my husband's and my married last name even though we weren't married at the time. There's nothing wrong with you giving your child your last name. I think it's important to give your son your last name so the name can be carried down for another generation. If my first son didn't have my maiden last name, i would have been the last one with the name.
If he isn't around during pregnancy don't give him a say

I wouldn't even be talking to him about shit. You haven't been there consistently throughout the pregnancy and he's talking about how he wants baby's name to be 🖕🏼 he has no say on anything.
