Ladies this morning I threw up bloody mucus, it wasn't very bloody but it had like stringy blood in it. Has this ever happened to any of you? If so, then why?

Do you sleep with the fan on or cough a lot? During my first trimester I was always throwing up a little bit of blood from my nose and throat being so dry because of the fan. My doctor said the blood is from my throat being irritated by the dry air and wasn't worried about it.

@debdeb1 yea I sleep with the fan every night but when I blow my nose I don't see blood or anything and I sometimes have phlegm in my throat

Then it's most likely from that mixed with the heat. Doesn't hurt to call and ask the Dr. though.

@debdeb1 yeabi just spoke with a nurse and told me it's just irritation in my throat lol

No u should go see doc asap like ER now! Could have a infection.

. it is very hard to diagnose someone over the phone though. And she's just a nurse not a doc. But if ur confident with that answer okay.
