My daughter is 1 and I started as soon as her bottom teeth came in.

Mine started at 2. I had found this toothbrush at Family Dollar that lit up for 1 min 30sec and sang and she would just brush her own teeth. I'd go in after anyway and brush a bit more she she would just mostly chew it but it's a good hair to start early on

Jocey's 3 1/2 I still brush her teeth but she does it again after to get used to how it's done so she can do it properly on her own eventually. We aren't there yet.

4.. I got my daughter and son an electric toothbrush that had lights to show them how long to brush and when to stop.
