32 weeks today! Woo hoo getting so much closer!!!
@js_kidsmom yea I definitely don't want to leave my baby there... I'll be so upset if I have too.. I want my baby to leave when I leave
I didn't have to leave him, thank God. But it was really hard to see him in pain like that. He would cry and I wasn't allowed to do anything. His lungs were underdeveloped and then he got jaundice from losing so much weight. @js_kidsmom
@sam-i-am no problem. We all here to make sure all our babies/children have the best care.
@sawyersmom my brother had to be in the nicu for 2 weeks. Something about is skull or head not being developed. Its not fun leaving them there.
@sawyersmom @js_kidsmom o wow thanks for the heads up
My son lost well over a pound the first two days he was alive and he didn't gain any weight at all for a month. I would have much rather been pregnant for another 4 weeks than to have to endure that fear and the nicu. ❤❤❤ @js_kidsmom
@sawyersmom so glad he's okay. Its a scary risk when they are born early whether purposely trying to induce or even if your body goes naturally into labor itself.
No their bodies my be developed but their lungs and brains aren't. Plus weight is a factor as well. You may think you baby is going to be a big baby according to estimates but then it can be born underweight. They won't release your baby until it hits 5lbs
They're definitely not. Trust me. From my experiences. My son almost died and he was on a respirator and lost so much weight because he didn't know how to eat. They aren't ready
@js_kidsmom @juliaschade41 @sawyersmom @infamousmama_ @js_kidsmom o I've read that your baby is fully developed at 35 weeks
@infamousmama_ every doctor is different honestly. I heard of some letting women pick out a csection date or induction date for any time after 37weeks and 0days. Then there's my doctors office who won't schedule a csection til 39 weeks and inductions are scheduled after 41 weeks.
@js_kidsmom, wow, thanks! My doctor told me 38 weeks was full term!
My son came at 36 weeks and we spent a week in the nicu! Let your baby in as long as possible 😊
@sam-i-am no they still have developing to do for a couple more weeks. Otherwise full term would just be up to 35 weeks if that was the case. Full term according to my doctor is 39/40 weeks.
