Any moms planning on going all natural (no pain meds) with their first baby like me? Has anyone done it before and would like to share some wisdom?
@starwars-mom I'm honestly more afraid of the needle they use to administer the epidural. Lol
If that's your plan, stick to it. It was my plan but 18 hrs into my emergency induction I let them talk me into the epidural and because of that, I had to unfortunately have an emergency csection so who knows if I'll even be able to have a VBAC now. Stick to you plan. Achieve you goals. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's one of my biggest regrets.
@emileewells1153, the continuous back and head pain that I hear about from people terrifies me more than giving birth, lol. The risk of that happening is my number one reason for planning to go all natural.
I haven't done it and I don't plan too BUT a lot of my friends got it done and wish they never would have. They have such bad headaches and back pain. So I praise you!
@eternalskye, me too. It would be a lot easier if people were just supportive when you say it to them. That's why I like coming online and hearing from people who have done it or plan to do it!
My last two were all natural gas had no choice, I did have the worst headache with my last baby that I was bed ridden for a week straight! Ugh it was the worst headache ever! They couldn't figure out why I had the headache 🤕 they started to get the epi ready but no medicine was ever injected.
