For all those new mom's that haven't given birth yet the biggest after labor/postpartum tip I can give you is to take as much as you can from the hospital while you can...the aloe wipes, mesh panties, the pads, the tucks pads, the duraplast...just keep saying you ran out and ask for more everytime there's a nurse shift change. Youll really want them when you go home and nobody wants to run to cvs and spend a bunch of money right after they have a baby.

Exactly. Take everything the give you and put it in the to go bag. Even the diapers and wipes. Your paying for the stuff, might as well take as much as you can get

@beebaby yes diapers and wipes too. My boyfriend asked why I called and asked for more diapers when we "had enough at home" boyyy you can never have enough diapers

There was this little old nurse when I had my second who kept insisting I needed more things for the baby. She was all "don't tell anyone, but it's important!"
She gave me things like sensitive skin lotion for the baby, diaper rash cream, 5 whole cases of formula, hospital blankets and sheets, extra diapers, ChapStick, three days worth of meals from the hospital cafeteria for both me and my husband, painkiller spray in case I was sore in my lady parts, I swear if the hospital had it and it wasn't medication, she just stuffed it in my overnight bag. That woman was a saint.
