I think the gist of this us, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about what you are doing....so go about your business regardless of them. There's no reason you should feel compelled to flaunt what you have or what you are doing, because it's pointless.

@dmm1976 And that is so true. But u feel so good about what your doing or your plans that sometimes you want to tell your "friends" and "family" especially when they're already are very successful.

It's unfortunate that in today's society one can't share their goals because it's seen as "flaunting"or in general put it down. Whatever happen to encouraging one another? Yes it is best to move in silence.

@natasha.8235 it's very sad. Because personally I can't flaunt lol especially when the person I'm telling it to is making more money thane and my husband put together lol I just wanted them to be proud of me

@vicky810, I've been there and I was laughed at by my own family member so since then I learned a few valuable lessons. 1: majority of people suck there's a very few good hearted human beings out there 2: people like that are just afraid that you'll be better than them cause guess what you already are by them acting like that 3: let your actions speak like achieving that goal and when they ask oh but when and how just say it doesn't matter I already achieved it 4: careful who you speak to about your personal life and yes even "family"

@vicky810 what you are talking about is sharing happy news about your life, absolutely nothing wrong with that...if friends and family are anything but receptive about your excitement then there is something going on with them that is unfortunate but you shouldn't let it phase you.
