@babyboy1117, I am currently on wic and I worked for wic years ago but they still use income guidelines. Why would they provide formula and milk, etc for anyone over income? It's a program to help keep women infant and children healthy that are low income. Otherwise they would just issue everyone a wic card that got pregnant.

@babyboy1117, it's not illegal. At least not here in Ohio. I used to work for WIC and it's most def based on income. I had to turn away quite a bit of people for making too much. Just like the food stamp program, if you make too much you don't qualify. Maybe military is different tho.

You can most definitely be denied for wic based on income. Income is a major requirment for the program.

Well it's still completely illegal for them to deny the formula so if you really need it, you should try them, if they tell you no you need to report it.

I guess in some places they let you get away with income and just overlook it.

Where I live it is the exact same way. They ask the exact same thing and if you are not getting them they ask for proof of your income.

Where I live wic is like food stamps. One thing they ask is if I'm getting food stamps or Medicare and I do so I'm automatically accepted. But yes it is based on income
